Gnosis-knowing one to be diligent in liberating his soul from its prison and not say, "Oh, my regret over what I neglected in regard to God," and the neglect is the shortcoming in the rights of the brothers.

[14] As it was already narrated in some of the reports: "The most Gnosis-knowing of you of his soul is the most Gnosis-knowing of you of his Lord."

Because the soul of the believer is his brother, so upon you is knowledge and the action with it, and the urging upon its acquisition, as it was said: Indeed, the seeking of knowledge is the path of salvation.

[15] And Aristotle said: "If there were not in the seeking of knowledge except the opposition to the ignorant one upon his ignorance."

[16] And he said: "My seeking of knowledge is not out of greed in reaching its furthest limits, since there is no path to its end, but rather the seeking of that which does not look good in the consequence its opposition."
