And all of these reports and their equivalents were already transmitted by the advanced masters on the authority of our masters, the People of the House, transcended their might, so that they deliver them to us so that we emulate what they said and follow what they mentioned and be disciplined by what they transmitted, and[ whoever has a heart or who listens while he is a witness ] 1 will understand it, and only the possessors of vision remember and the possessors of intellects, the ones of reflection, take heed.
[7] As our master, the Commander of the Faithful, transcended his might, said: "Where are those who when they heard they retained, and when they retained they understood, and when they understood they recognized, and when they recognized they knew, and when they knew they acted, and when they acted they arrived, and when they arrived they were those are the rabbāni scholars of the nations , and the lamps of the darknesses, and the lights of knowledge; oh, how great is my longing for them, and peace be from them."
