As for His manifestation to us, it is not like His manifestation to our master Muhammad, His glory is magnificent; rather, He manifests to us through His Essence, which is the very Essence by which He answered His Essence during the call—and it is the visible form and the reality of the inward aspect of our master Muhammad, His glory is magnificent. Yet, He did not manifest His visible Essence to us in the same manner it was manifested to our master Muhammad, His glory is magnificent, since none beholds the Essence except that which proceeds from the Essence.

As for his saying: "...and the one who addresses the Meaning (al-Ma'na) through His attributes," its meaning is: when He called creation to His knowledge, [He inspired them] 1 with the knowledge of our master Muhammad, His glory is magnificent. Thus, he guided them to His knowledge, the Exalted, and he was the intermediary between Him and them in conveying the affirmation of servitude to Him and submission to His Divinity (al-Lahutiyyah), as well as the interpreter and the one addressing [them] 2 —and he is the Attribute, while the Creator, the Exalted, is the One being addressed.
