THE AFFIRMATION OF MONOTHEISM AND THE TRINITY THROUGH VARIOUS SCIENCES
Let us clarify the verification of what we have mentioned regarding the monotheism of the One (al-Ahad)—who is the First Perfection—and its validity by way of calculation and geometry:
Indeed, the One does not enter into number, is not characterized [by a duration of time] 3 , and does not multiply within itself, since it is the First Perfection that acts upon the Second Perfection, which is the receptive actor (al-munfa'il al-fa'il).
