because you have believed in the outward of the seen person, and you have designated for him an Unseen that is not named and to which there is no path, while the form according to you is the light of the Essence. Yet, the light of the Essence according to the rest of the monotheists (al-Muwahhidah) is the inward reality of our master Muhammad, His glory is magnificent, and it is the Greatest Name; so what difference is there between you and these people, just as we have clarified?!

And another faction said: "Indeed, the niche (al-mishkat) that God the Exalted mentioned in His Book is Ali ibn Abi Talib, His glory is magnificent; his inward reality is the Commander of the Bees (Amir al-Nahl), and the inward of the Commander of the Bees is the lamp (al-misbah), and the inward of the lamp is the pearly star, and the inward of the pearly star is the tree, which is the Essence that can neither be limited nor described." And I found that this doctrine is the belief of Marhaj al-Tuban and his followers.

And these, O Sheikh, are the authors of the corrupt doctrines upon whom al-Khasibi invoked curses, and none of them deserves to be called a monotheist, because they believed that Ali ibn Abi Talib, His glory is magnificent,
