and because most of the community across the lands have abandoned proper decorum during gatherings, turning instead to vulgarity, drinking, casting off restraint, and neglecting what the sacred law renders obligatory during the state of service and the period between suspension (al-ta'liq) and hearing (al-sama'). Many of them gather while their hearts are utterly divided.
And the Almighty states: {"Indeed, the wasteful are brothers of the devils, and Satan is ever ungrateful to his Lord.}" 1
These are the very ones who disclose esoteric knowledge ('ilm al-batin) among the people of the exoteric (ahl al-zahir) for the sake of dispute and dominance.
