We used to consider them few in number

And now they have become fewer than the few.

We have demonstrated within our book that which contains sufficient proof, through His transformation, His power, His benevolence, and His mercy—and God is sufficient for us, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.

I desired to compile this debate regarding the exaltation of the Creator, majestic is his glory, making it inclusive of that which the leader may benefit from, so that he may benefit both the elite and the general public, and so that the elite of the concurrent companions and close associates may tread its path after me, serving as a definitive proof against the innovators who have abandoned the sacred law of the believers after the covenant had been taken from them.

Therefore, whosoever adopts what I have presented in this debate and strives in both knowledge and its application, God will open for him the gates of mercy and clarify for him the path of salvation. For indeed, I have written this specifically for the elite (al-khassah),
