Then he asked about the Commander of the Faithful, Ali, His glory is magnificent, so he was brought to him, and when he saw him and observed him, he began to mutter that which we do not know, and the Commander of the Faithful, His glory is magnificent, was speaking to him with that which we do not understand, so when he went out from his presence, his companions said to him: How did you see this man? So he said to them: This is the origin of origins, this is the origin of every light, this is the disposer of all affairs, this is the essential origin and the noble [Lord] ¹ , the Most High, the Magnificent, the [Wise God] ² , to whom every guide points.
