The Meaning (al-Ma'na), majestic is his glory, is self-subsisting, because the spirit of the Mim, majestic is his glory, is [the light of the Essence] 1 ,and his body is from the light which he originated by the command of his Master, and from the pure core of that light, he created the spirit of the Sin, peace be upon him. Thus, the one manifesting with body and spirit is [God] 2 , the Name Muhammad, majestic is his glory."
Reflect then, O you who are blind of insight, that the one manifesting through the light of the Essence is the Name, majestic is his glory, and it only became convoluted to [the understanding of the weak individual] 3 due to his phrase: "from the light of the Essence."
This discourse is an exposition; the Essence [is] the Meaning, and the Meaning never manifests except by His own self.
Whosoever deems the form to be the veil of the Essence has restricted the Essence and returned to the doctrine of the Incarnationists (al-Hululiyyah).
