This statement demonstrates that the One, Pre-Existent Meaning (al-Ma'na) named Himself the Unseen and by all other divine Names, and exalted Himself above the human form when divine knowledge and power manifested from Him. This is my object of worship and that which is within my [esoteric secret] 1 . You, on the other hand, have denied the form, and the delusion emerging from the Unseen has overcome you due to your claim: "Indeed, addition and deficiency occur within it." Upon what, then, is your belief based?

As for me, regarding the form that I denied, I understood how to deny it; and as for the Unseen, I understood how to exalt it. You, however, have lost both dimensions.

Furthermore, among what I have heard from many of the Monotheists (al-Muwahhidah) is that they say: "The light of the Essence is the Anza'i form."

[55]They argued using His statement, majestic is his glory: "Nothing is greater than the Holy Spirit except the one who descends into it." The one who descends into it is the one who is veiled by it.
