of his mighty sword. [He shall not sheathe it] 1 throughout the entire earth, and a herald will call out on his behalf, proclaiming victory, power, and mighty valor.
His appearance will be between the North, the East wind (al-Saba), the southern West, and the West wind (al-Dabur).
He will possess the entire earth, suppress the kings, the dissidents (al-Khawarij), and the rulers, master the seven climes, and rule the whole world from its beginning to its end by the sword, by justice, and by the establishment of truth and the eradication of injustice. He will expel the corrupters, destroy the wrongdoers, establish a beautiful conduct among the people and the subjects, and alter the codes and systems currently operating in the world. Whosoever does not believe this statement and does not watch for its fulfillment, I do not align with him, nor do I take him as a [brother and a friend] 2 ; rather, I disavow his brotherhood and his affiliation. Indeed, I have completely refrained from keeping company with these raucous callers because of their abundant fabrications against the truth.
