He said, 'O Adam, inform them of their names.' And when he had informed them of their names, He said, 'Did I not tell you that I know the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth and I know what you reveal and what you have been concealing?} 1

The report is thus understood: if He is the Namer of all that He created, how could His own Name belong to humanity (al-nasut)?

And the statement of the Sheikh, may God sanctify his soul:

Seven Names that were designated

Acting as a namer, not as a named entity.

By this statement, it is rendered false that 'Ali could be a name of humanity. For if He is the Namer of all the names designated by [the people of] 2 mystical knowledges, and the One by whose Name everything is recognized and attributed to its [essence / precious gems] 3 —which constitutes the language of speech and the foundation of the alphabetical letters—then He is Allah, the Divinity (al-Lahut).
