[44]Just as the Lord Christ, majestic is his glory, said: "Indeed, I am going to my Father and your Father, and to my God and your God."

[45]And the statement of the Messenger, majestic is his glory: "‘Ali is the Father of Fathers."

And al-Sawwaq al-Basri, may God have mercy upon him, said:

O Father of [Fathers] 1 , O You who have no partner! Toward You is my purpose, and in meeting You is my anticipation. [Among You the creation finds its livelihood, yet all of them

Are helpless and exhausted regarding a mere fraction of Your truth.] 2

If, my Master, my sin veils me from You

You, my Master, are never hidden from creation. The Veils are Your Most Beautiful Names, while You are their Meaning

And through the Veils, the Master of the Veils is invoked.
