He asked: 'What if I witness the power emanating from one of the veiHe answered: 'If you witness the power from a Gate (bab), a Veil (hijab), or from any cause among the causes, know that it is from the action of God, the Sublime, the Generous Giver.' He asked: 'And how is that?' He replied: 'Indeed, God occulted His vicegerent, His cause, His gate, and His veil, and He manifested in the likeness of the veil's form. Thus, the power is from the action of the Concealer (al-hajib), not from the action of the concealed one (al-mahjub). He brought forth the power and manifested the wondrous miracles while the veil was concealed and occulted from the eyes of the onlookers and the sight of the tempered masses (al-mamzujin), who see Him only as the veil. Therefore, it is established that the power, the action, and the knowledge are from the action of the Concealer, not from the action of the concealed one—and this is the recognition of deep perception.'

Consequently, if the power, knowledge, and action belong to the Veil, then anyone who claims that the Meaning honored the Lineage with a power delegated (al-mufawwadah) to them and detached it from Himself has gone astray and disbelieved.
