was that He is formed with a form in His manifestation and His hiddenness with a hand of light, a head of light, and a foot of light! And he affirmed that the Anzai form is the light of the essence! And he said: I do not negate from Him except eating and drinking, so I held him back ¹ from that, and the disputation took place between me and him in the line of Imamate, so he believed concerning it that it is spiritual, essential! So I held him back from that and I did not agree with him, so the people of the truthful reality followed me, and the possessors of the world and the tearing bellies inclined toward him, and the first of those who followed me among the knowing brothers from those who are of his family and his relatives was his brother, the chief Salim, may God the Exalted grant him success, and the teacher [Jibrin ibn Muhammad] ² may God the Exalted grant him success, and he was the oldest of them in age and the earliest of them in hearing and knowledge, and every one who used to follow the chief Salim, may God the Exalted guard him [or follow as an Imam] ³ by him inclined toward me and believed my saying,
