and join the world of the "Succeeding Ones" (‘ālam al-lāḥiqīn). Their prayer upon them is the imparting of the divine sciences to them, which are what connected them to the Presence of Holiness.

As for the third meaning: the worship of the believers through it, and it comes in five limits:

The First: Performing what the Master Messenger—may his glory be exalted—legislated regarding the outward prayer.

The Second: Knowing its esoteric meaning (bāṭin), the specificities of its timings, and the meanings of its units of prayer (raka‘āt).

The Third: Maintaining religious kinship and spiritual lineages.

The Fourth: The believers' remembrance of their Creator through pure monotheism, free from polytheism, and hallowing Him in the esoteric sanctifications within their private seclusions,
