because reminding only occurs regarding a matter that was once known and then forgotten. This is an act of justice from Him to establish His proof and clarify His path.

The Second: [Prayer] from the ranks of His holiness, which also carries three meanings:

[The first is] from the Veil upon His manifestation through the Gate, as we have explained regarding the esoteric meaning of the iqāma.

And from the Gate upon those below him from the Macrocosm, and the establishment of one of them in his station, just as he did during his occultation among the Persians; when the Meaning, the Name, and the Gate were absent, he had appointed as successors among them: Sharwin in the station of the Meaning, Kharwin in the station of the Name, and [someone] in the station of the Gate Khosrow; and these persons are from the Macrocosm, so their establishment in the place of the three ranks was a prayer upon them.

As for the prayer of the angels upon the believers: that occurs from them when the believers are liberated from the world of temperament (‘ālam al-mizāj)
