As for the believer and his brother in religion and the world being of one law (shar‘an wāḥidan): this stems from the path of the believer's justice. When he believes that both he and his brother are servants of God, and God has bestowed His bounty upon him—whether from the accidental goods of this world or the essential jewels of the Hereafter—it becomes obligatory for him to treat his brother as an equal in whatever God has granted him. This is due to their equality in the station of Servitude (‘ubūdiyya). Indeed, God only withheld from one of them to test the heart of the one whom He gave, observing his fulfillment of the Covenant.

As for the safeguarding of God’s secret (ṣawn sirr Allāh): it is to sanctify it from the ears of the doubters, lest they cast off the burdens (āṣār) placed upon them and meet the gnosis of God with ignorance and denial.

Although I have digressed from my primary aim by explaining this report in this chapter, I now return to the objective of mentioning the stations of Real Faith.
