The Entrusted Faith (al-Mustawda‘)
This is the faith that is eventually stripped away from those who did not offer the Primordial Response (al-ijāba) or faith within the World of Shadows (‘ālam al-ẓilāl) toward the Manifest Light. It is like the parable of the "altered mud" (al-ḥama’ al-masnūn)—the test of all worlds through the command to prostrate to it.
Faith occurs here [in the material world] for the one who was a "doubter" there [in the primordial world] only metaphorically, not in reality. It happens through the companionship of the believers among the "People of Temperament" (Ahl al-Mizāj). However, this faith departs from them upon their transition [death]. His reward for his newfound affirmation—despite his ancient denial—is an act of Justice from God toward him; yet, he shall not enter the Supreme Kingdom (al-Malakūt al-A‘lā), nor shall he be stripped of the material elements of "Temperament."
