He obligated Faith (Īmān) in Him within the veil of His Unseen, so that they may attain through it salvation in the witnessing of His Manifestation, and as a reminder for humanity and a guidance toward signs of the Overpowering Might and the Resplendent Lights.

He obligated Islam to bring the evil souls under the commands of the good souls, so that their evil might diminish and their power be broken. He obligated the Affirmation of His angels, His books, and His messengers as a reminder to the souls of the nobility of the stations of the people of obedience and the greatness of their ranks with Him—so that those beneath them may follow their commands and desist from their prohibitions, that the affairs of existence may be organized according to their Way (Sunna) and that the hands of enmity may be stayed by their prestige.

He obligated obedience to Those in Authority (Ulī al-Amr), by His—the Exalted—saying: {Obey God and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you} 1 , seeking thereby the utmost [order].
