Multiplicity only occurs according to the manifestations for the people of the outward and temperament, and their occultations from them, and the realities of what is bestowed upon them—they are those from whom knowledge is transferred as they move through the human births.

Charity (Almsgiving) to them from the believers consists of: reminding them of what the temperament, with its darkness, made them forget regarding the pure Monotheism they held before their transitions. This occurs after they extend the hands of seeking to the believers in pursuit of their "lost property."

As the Master Mim—may his glory be exalted—said: "Wisdom is the lost property of the believer."
