if Allah wills to manifest His Essence to the created beings, He strips the veil from their sights, so that every genre sees Him according to its own genre: the luminous see Him as luminous, and the human see Him as human."
And the Sheikh Sulayman al-Ahmad said in the "Commentary on the Diwan of Al-Makzun": "To us belongs the attribute of possibility [al-imkan], and to Him—the Most High—belongs the attribute of necessity [al-wujub]. Thus, the witnessed form is the very universal Essence ['Ayn al-Dhat al-Kulliyyah]; so in terms of union [al-jam'], He is It, and in terms of separation [al-farq], It is not He."
And Ibn Hamza al-Sufi said in verse:
O you who defame the forms that manifested for Him
Out of an ignorance of manifestation, saying: "They are dense bodies."
If they were to hide themselves for a time, his weeping would be prolonged
Along with his yearning wailing, out of longing for the beauty of their manifestation.
