And Sari al-Saqati—and it is also attributed to our Master Al-Khasibi—said in verse:

For if the Worshipped Entity were to manifest with the entirety of His Essence

The physical bodies would have rushed forth, completely incinerated.

And that is like the ocean: you can look at its shore

But its deep wonders cannot be taken in at a glance.

Rather, the very essence of justice from Him is His manifestation

To His creation through their own likeness, with structural steadfastness.

And the author of the "Book of Admonition" [Kitab al-Tanbih] said: "The proof of the permanence of His existence—the Most High—is the emanation of His existence eternally in pre-eternity and post-eternity. The second [proof] is that it is impossible for the Artisan to be non-existent while the artifact exists, such as the creation of the heavens and the earth, what is within them, and their perfect formation, along with the permanence of the emanation and its continuous flow forever alongside their survival.
