His glory is mighty, said: "Every time, epoch, age, and era is never devoid of an existing Meaning [Ma'nan Mawjud], an extended shadow [Zillin Mamdud], and an intended Gate [Babin Maqsud]."
And in this era, we have not found anything of what Al-Sadiq, His glory is mighty, said; rather, Al-Sadiq only intended by this statement that as long as created beings remain within these dense bodies, they must have these things—which are a Meaning, a Name, and a Gate—due to their need for that. And we have also made known to you that manifestation and absence are not by a movement of relocation that vacates a space [hayyizan] and occupies another like it. Rather, it is permissible by the proof of intellect that just as He veiled our sights from all other directions and showed us a consuming, drinking form upon which accidents occur while He is contrary to that, it is likewise permissible that He veils our sights from Him, so that He does not show us this manifestation while He is existing in reality.
[106] And Al-Raddad said in his treatise: Al-Sadiq, His glory is mighty, said: "The possessor of Power is Allah by His Essence, and the form is related to His creation just as the Power is related to Him; and the possessor of Power has no form."
