Where is 'not You' so that one may flee from You to it? Rather, where are You when 'where' itself is within You?

And the trustworthy youth said in the "Book of Proofs" [Kitab al-Dala'il]: "We, the community of believers, have described what we have recognized and worshipped what we have found, and we verified and thus we found. Therefore, whoever remains ignorant of a witnessed existence [mawjudan mar'iyyan] is a disbeliever, and it is more fitting to be ignorant of that which is neither found nor seen; because every known entity is described, and every non-existent, lost entity is unknown."

And Al-Raddad said in his treatise: "Allah is the First Perfection, and the Agent of the second passive-active perfection. He possesses nothing except a single attribute, which is the action; and all the attributes by which the Agent is described are themselves actions, and the totality of actions is one, which is the action. Thus, He is an Agent who is never acted upon."
