while the miracles, proofs, and indications used to manifest from the Meaning. Therefore, the essential manifestations are not attributed except to His prophet, the possessor of the divine law; for the sake of this honoring, the Name did not require more honoring than that. As for the exemplary individuals of the Name upon whom honoring and removal befell, they were silent in the beginning of their manifestations—neither action, nor knowledge, nor power was attributed to them—then, when honoring befell them, it began to be attributed to them the proofs, the action, the remembrance, the honoring of the Meaning for them, and the lineage [line] of the Imamate and the Testament from Abel to the Ayn, High is our Master. And the lineage of the Imams is from the first Al-Hasan to Al-Hasan al-Askari; so these are the Imams, and the Meaning is their Imam, and they are deities while the Meaning is their God, and they are ultimate goals while the Meaning is their ultimate goal. And the lineage of the Message [prophets] who were sent, they are: Idris, Noah, Hud, Salih, Abraham, Shu'ayb, Moses, Ezekiel, David, Solomon, Jonah, Zechariah, Jesus, and Muhammad; so these were prophesied to and sent. And the lineage of Prophecy, they are: Adam, Enos, Cainan, Mahalalel, Jared, Isaac, Jacob, Caleb, Methuselah,
