And one of the gnostics was asked concerning the manifestation of the Meaning through the witnessed form, and the manifestation of His Name through the Muhammadan form, so he said: "The witnessed form is the ultimate goal of the seekers, and the Name is the indication for the pursuers."

And our Master the Sheikh said in his treatise "The Power" [Al-Qudrah]: Power is not of a single classification; among it is the power of existence without origination, the power of origination without finitude, the power of actions upon which fall a limit, an end, and a description, and a power whose existence is from a commanding and forbidding matter:

As for the power which is the power of existence without origination: it is the power of the Meaning, who by it brought existence into being, and made it His Name, His attribute, His veil, and the locus of His witnessing, and it is without origination.

As for the power of origination without finitude: it is the power of the Originator of things and their Creator,
