And Abu Shu'ayb, peace be upon him, said in "The Luminous Cycles" [Al-Akwar al-Nuraniyyah]: Indeed, the Primordial used to appear to the existences through divine power, neither as a barrier nor as vanishing, and the Name used to appear as the full, glowing moon, and the Gate used to appear as a sun. Then, when the will of the Primordial was completed and the manifestations changed, He manifested the Gate—which is the sun of a sky—and He manifested the moon as a sun, and the Creator appeared as the full, glowing moon, and the worlds appeared in the likeness of His manifestations.
And the Sheikh Salih Nasir said in his book "The Spiritual Doctrines": The Master Al-Hasan al-Askari, His glory is mighty, said: "We, the assembly of prophets and legatees, are not carried in bellies nor do we emerge from wombs; rather, we are carried in the flanks [pockets/collars], because we are the light of Allah which impurities cannot touch."
And Hamzah ibn Shu'bah said in "The Proof of the Gnostic" [Hujjat al-Arif]: It was narrated from our Master Al-Baqir, His glory is mighty, that he said: "Indeed, we have a station from Allah; when we are in it, we are He, and when we descend from it, we are as we are, and He is as He is."
