And speech (al-nutq) is the veil of the soul from the direction that it indicates it, not from the direction of its indwelling in it, since speech is an attribute of it and it is subsisting through it; rather, speech is an outward action of an agent by will.

Muhyiddin: In the foundation of the soul is a latent love; it is an inward secret. So whenever you attach it to a known object, it is seized and drawn until it becomes absent and veiled. Thus, beware of restriction to forms, of what is hidden and manifest, even if it ascends in its gender and dazzles: {Do not prostrate to the sun nor to the moon} 1 .

Saddened Thoughts of the Imprisoned (Shujun al-Masjun): As for the spirit, it is a subtle, luminous substance, rich beyond needing nourishment. And it was said that the spirit of every person is shaped in the form of his body, just as He— His glory is might—said [in the prophetic tradition]: "Allah created Adam in His image," meaning He created his physical mold (qalab) in the image of his spirit.

I say: And this is the very essence of complete disclosure, not structural creation.
