And perhaps you have understood from what preceded that spirits grow great to a degree that nothing contains them except their Creator, Glory be to Him and Exalted is He, and that is due to the Divine manifestation (al-tajalli al-ilahi) regarding which it has been said: "But the heart of My believing servant contained Me." And for this reason, he— His glory is might—said [in the prophetic tradition]: "I have a time with Allah in which no angel brought near nor any prophet sent as a messenger can contain me."

So the outward meaning of this time is: "Nothing contains me except Allah." And it has appeared from what preceded that the heavens and the earth did not contain Allah, yet the heart of His believing servant contained Him. From this, it is known that the one who is realized in Allah, when the divine manifestations are overflowed upon him, his spirit ascends such that nothing among the created things can contain it. And how can it be possible for a created thing to contain a structure in which the secrets of Lordship have gathered and within which the cosmic worlds have folded?
