[70] And the Sheikh Muhammad Al-Darwishi said in his treatise "The Singling Out of the Essence", he said: The Master Abu Shu'ayb, from him be peace [Minhu Al-Salam], said: Indeed, the First Meaning does not accept the different veils, nor does it bend into a division, nor is it confined within a number.

He meant by his saying: "Indeed, the First Meaning does not accept the different veils," through the different persons; and rather, whoever occupies one after the another accepts the number. He said: And what is the sign of your belief?, he said: I knew the separation from the connections. He said to him: You have known, so adhere.
