As for the end of the Fourth Journey: it is upon the return from the Truth into creation during the dissipation of creation within the Truth, until he sees the Unitary Essence within the forms of multiplicity, and the forms of multiplicity within the Essence of Unity.
As for the two aspects of absoluteness and restriction, they are the two standpoints of considering the Essence with respect to the dropping of all considerations or with respect to their affirmation. For the Essence of the Truth is existence qua existence; if you consider it as such, it is the Absolute—meaning the Reality that is with everything without juxtaposition. For that which is other than pure existence is pure non-existence, so how can that by which a thing exists, and without which it is non-existent, be juxtaposed with it? It is other than everything without separation, for whatever is besides Him are the non-existent immutable essences (al-a'yan al-ma'dumah), which are other than existence; if He parted from them, nothing would be. Thus, the whole exists through Him, while He exists by His own Essence. If you restrict it by detachment—meaning by the condition that nothing be alongside it—then He is the One (al-Ahad).
