He is the eternal and the initiator of His light forever To the servants, without a father and without a son

And the Essence is not what was preferred, if you were to know it Rather, what you saw is the Worshiped One in eternity

And to Al-Muhalhhili in his Baghdadi Treatise: And indeed, the Meaning, when He willed to manifest His power and initiate His wisdom, peeked out from the light of His essence a light that was inward within Him, so it emerged manifest through Him; thus He is its inward when He peeked it out and His manifest when He invented it, like the light from the disk of the sun, and that is because the light of the disk is connected to it, not separated from it; it is found by its existence and becomes absent by its absence, since it is not other than it, like the sun, the light [Nur], the glow [Daw'], and the shade [Ghay']. So the disk is the Ayn, the light is the Mim, the glow is the Sin, and the shade is the Yatilm.

[65] And from the Egyptian Treatise, the Master Muhammad, His glory is mighty, said: I make you know myself, I make you know my Lord, its meaning is: I make you know by the Mim, I make you know by the Ayn, and whoever knows the Name by its reality has known the Meaning, and his worship becomes sound for him.
