The Ninth Horizon: Muhammad b. al-Mufaddal, peace be upon him. His Orphans are: Asad b. Isma'il b. Abi al-Tayyibat, al-Hurr the broker—of beasts, not of people—Salih b. 'Abd al-Quddus, 'Ali b. 'Abd al-Malik al-Qummi, and 'Abdullah b. Muhammad al-Hartami.

The Tenth Horizon: 'Umar b. al-Furat, peace be upon him. His Orphans are: al-Hasan and Wahb, the two sons of Qaran, Nasr b. Sallam, Khalid b. al-Ash'ath, and Muhammad b. 'Umar al-Kinnas.

The Eleventh Horizon: Abu Shu'ayb, peace be upon him. His Orphans are: Muhammad b. Jundub, Fadwayh al-Kurdi, Ishaq al-Kufi b. 'Ammar—and it is said b. Hammad—'Ali b. Umm al-Raqad, and Ahmad b. Muhammad b. al-Furat the Scribe.

The Names of Those Who Are Praised Esoterically But Blamed Exoterically (Asma' al-Mahmudin Batinan al-Madhmumin Zahiran):

The Shaykh, may Allah illumine his face, said: "They are too numerous to be counted, but we have commented upon those whose mention was possible.Among them are those who fought alongside 'A'ishah the oath-breaker,
