Concerning the Proofs of the Five Times and the Commentary on Their Allusions:
The singular scholar Shaykh Husayn Ahmad said in The Proofs of the Five Times and the Commentary on Their Allusions, may Allah sanctify his soul: The first time is Noon (al-Zuhr): it points to the Master, the Supreme Mīm, and the allusion within it is to the Divine Existence shining forth within the Cosmos of Light—which is the Cosmos of the Mīm within the Divine Will—during the mounting over the Supreme Horizon, like the transaction of the Shīn that shines with existential perfection in a state of disclosure.
The second time is Afternoon (al-'Asr): it points to the Fā' from among the Mīmī manifestations. The allusion therein is to the Eternal Primordial Nature (al-Fitrah) effusing from the Initiation Essence—meaning the primordial nature of Allah upon which He originated mankind, and to which He summoned them through it upon the termination of the miraculous and the commencement of the incapacity alluded to at the Spring of Khumm (Ghadir Khumm), wherein appears the bursting forth of the gathered water and the splitting of that elevated basin.
