[252] And Muhammad b. Sinan said in the Book of Veils and Lights (Kitab al-Hujub wa-al-Anwar): I said to my master al-Sadiq, His glory is might: "Does a male believer return as a female believer?" He replied: "Far be it from Allah that He should return the believer to the rear after his attaining faith! Verily, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, made them the conjugal agents (nakihin) and did not make them the conjugal subjects (mankuhin)."

[253] And al-Asbagh b. Nubatah said: Our master the Commander of the Faithful, His glory is might, said: "Every conjugal subject (mankuh) is accursed."

[254] And al-Sadiq, His glory is might, said in the Book of the Reports of the Devisees (Kitab Akhbar al-Mawali): "Do not place trust in women under any circumstance, and do not hand over to them any knowledge or wealth, for a conjugal subject shall never prosper, and one should refrain from eating the food of a conjugal subject."

[255] And he also said in the Book of Veils and Lights: "A woman may return in male forms, and a man may return in female forms, until the woman takes from the man just as the man takes from the woman, and that is a matter of justice from Allah.
