So he ascends to it, and it is the duration of nursing—two full years—which consists of acquiring jurisprudence from his master so that whatever was confusing to him regarding the matters of his religion becomes clear, and he may know his left from his right, occupying himself with the study of the esoteric books and conferring with the believers regarding sciences and gnosis.

And that is by the command of his master. If he is capable of bearing [the burden] and no weakness afflicts him due to the statements he has heard, and he performs what has been obligated upon him of the duty of deeds, then at that point he seeks the fifth [obstacle]—which is upon the limit of diligence and seeking—and he ascends the real rank, which is the following of the command of a guide who guides him toward attainment through the knowledge of the Luminous Manifestation. Thus, disclosure and proclamation are made permissible for him among the scholars from the brethren, and a powerful revival takes him toward the knowledge of affirming the existence of the Luminous Manifestations.
