[212] The Imam al-Sadiq, His glory is might, said: "Whoever says 'O Allah' and supplicates by the Lordly Names, it is only by the One that he seeks means and calls out."
[213] And he, His glory is might, also said: "The wrath of parents and the wrath of the believers hasten the expiration of life just as fire hastens through dry firewood."
[214] Our master Abu Sa'id said in the book al-Hawi, may Allah sanctify his soul: "The rank of the scholars is a likeness to the rank of the prophets, because of the statement of the Master Muhammad, His glory is might: 'Whoever is given a third of the Quran has been given a third of prophethood; and whoever is given two-thirds of the Quran has been given two-thirds of prophethood; and whoever is given the entirety of the Quran, the seal of prophethood has been stamped between his shoulders, except that he receives no divine revelation.'"
[215] Our master the Commander of the Faithful, 'Ali, His glory is might, said: "Verily, Allah has servants who live as though they have seen the people of Paradise [abiding] in their Paradise and the people of the Fire [abiding] in their Fire; certainty and its lights are radiant upon their faces.
