and if he is still, he is with Allah. Thus, he is by Allah, for Allah, and with Allah."

And the Shaykh Ibrahim [b.] 'Abd al-Latif said in the commentary on the Diwan of the Shaykh:

From You appeared the outward manifestation of the attributes, And every goodness, from You it comes.

The commentator said:

Verily, whatever beautiful attributes manifest upon any servant among Your servants, those attributes are merely a gift to him from You, and they exist in him metaphorically, not in reality.

And Ibn al-Makzun said:

To the True Merciful is the attribution of every servant, Through the manifestation of His beautiful attributes upon him. And what is known of what he possesses in the Unseen from Him, Is by seeing what his Master holds in his regard.

And in reality, absolute existence belongs to Allah, the Exalted, and the people of the spiritual state see nothing in existence except Him.
