[30] And Al-Sadiq, His glory is mighty, said: "The virtue of the scholar over the worshipper is like the virtue of the moon over the rest of the stars."

[31] And our Master, the Commander of the Faithful, His glory is mighty, said: "Learn knowledge, for indeed the learning of it is a good deed, and its spending to whoever does not know it is a charity, and its spending to its people brings close to Allah, and it is the rituals of the people of Paradise, and the companion in loneliness, and the companion in exile, and the speaker in seclusion, and the weapon on the path against the enemies."

[32] And Al-Sadiq, His glory is mighty, said: "gnosis, it is the great treasure, and the straight path, and it is the occupation of the angels, and it is the key of the hearts, and the ultimate of the sought, and it discloses the cover of the veiled, and it erases the sins."

[33] And the Messenger of Allah, His glory is mighty, said: "A rak'ah from a scholar is more excellent than a thousand rak'ahs from an ignorant one."

[34] And He, His glory is mighty, said: "A single scholar is more severe upon Iblis than a thousand worshippers."
