[18] And the wise Muhammad bin Sinan, upon him be peace, said: I heard the Scholar, His glory is mighty, saying: "Reflect, O seeking one, and take caution for yourself, and perfect the matter of your religion, for indeed I heard the Exalted, the All-Knowing saying: Haram upon whoever knew the wilayāh¹ of the Commander of the Faithful and did not reach therein the ultimate, furthest goal; so upon you is the adherence to the people of knowledge from among those who submit to Allah, and remain with them for indeed it is an obligation upon you, and discuss with the people of knowledge with a religion by which Allah is submitted to therein, and leave off disputation in the religion and slandering of the people, and humble yourself to whoever possesses knowledge you have need of, for indeed that is an obligation upon you and an adornment for you and a pride."

[19] And the Scholar, His glory is mighty, said: "The wise one, the wisdom shows him that above his knowledge is a knowledge, so he humbles himself for that increase, and the ignorant one thinks that he has reached the end so he falls by his ignorance."
