And within what we have stated is a sufficiency for whoever understands comprehension, and from Allah is success and guidance. We have inscribed, written, and set down of testimonies, principles, verses, and reports that which—if placed upon a mountain, it would move; or a sea, it would sink; and before which lifetimes fall short, stones melt, the towering peaks of mounts are leveled, as are the massive deafening boulders; due to the secrets it contains and the lifting of veils in the recognition of the Compeller [al-Jabbār]. Neither night nor day can afford delay from it, nor does any stability settle for its seeker. By my life, indeed this is the manifest truth, the deep understanding of religion, and the recognition of Allah, Lord of the worlds.

And this is that which strengthens the back, and through which pride, victory, release from burdens, and deliverance from captivity and hardship are attained; due to the deeply concealed secret it contains. And none is held in high esteem with Allah except whoever recognizes the transcendence of his Creator and Originator.

And I ask you, O my master, to closely examine this text, treatise, and book, and what it contains of answer and address;
