[[The Story of Moses and the Manifestation as a Proof for De-anthropomorphism]]

And the witness and proof that the Creator has no form or attribute resembling the people of light and humans, and that His manifestations are different in appearance yet unified in meaning, and not all of them are the same, nor do they resemble one another, and that He is greater, more majestic, and larger than what we see and witness; [is] what Allah the Exalted mentioned in His Mighty Book in His addressing to His servant Moses, when He manifested to him by light in the form of gentleness and beauty according to his capacity of endurance, so he witnessed Him, observed Him, and addressed Him.

For He said—and He is the most truthful of speakers: {And has the story of Moses reached you? * When he saw a fire and said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I can bring you a burning brand from it or find guidance at the fire" * And when he came to it, he was called, "O Moses * Indeed, I am your Lord, so remove your sandals. Indeed, you are in the sacred valley of Ṭuwā"}.
