For the perishing good cannot be compared to the lasting, eternal good; therefore, the Hereafter is better for you than the first. However, the merit of the world is that it was [the place of] the knowledge of our sins and mistakes only; it cannot be compared to the Hereafter, like a prisoner who repented in his prison—is he better than his home because he repented in it?!!

As for the sixth objection, it is that the idea of reincarnation is an idea that frustrates ambitions and convinces the human of his current fate and does not push him toward change, because it is obligatory to believe in what the Lord has satisfied for us, and this is against the wills of peoples for change, whether on a personal or societal level.

The answer, and from Allah help is sought: This is a mistaken understanding of the philosophy of transmigration, because reincarnation is a continuous struggle (Jihad) between the benevolent forces of the intellect and the soul that commands evil. These battles are upon the territory of the body, and it is what is called the Greater Jihad—meaning the struggle against lusts and base desires. Thus, reincarnation is a continuous call for struggle and diligent work to establish the building of a society upon the foundations of ethics and the principles of religion.
