Furthermore, it is recorded in Bihar al-Anwar, narrated from Wahb, regarding the story of Nebuchadnezzar (Bakht Nassar):

Nebuchadnezzar saw a vision even more terrifying than his first, and he forgot it as well. He summoned the scholars of his people and said, "I have seen a vision and I fear that within it lies your destruction and mine; what is its interpretation?" They were unable to answer and blamed their failure on Daniel. He sent them away and summoned Daniel—Exalted is His Might—and questioned him.

Daniel said: "You saw a magnificent tree, intensely green, its branches reaching into the heavens. Upon it were the birds of the sky, and in its shade were the beasts and predators of the earth. While you were looking at it, marvelling at its splendor, an angel approached with an iron tool like an axe upon his neck. He cried out to another angel at one of the gates of heaven, asking: 'How has God commanded you to deal with this tree? Has He commanded you to uproot it from its base, or to take a portion of it?' The higher angel called back: 'Allah the Almighty says: Take from it, but let the root remain.' You watched the angel strike the top of the tree with his axe until it was severed. The birds upon it scattered, and the beasts beneath it fled. Only the stump remained, devoid of form or beauty."
