So I agreed to that, and I asked him to collect them and to provide a title for them, and he did that, Allah directs him and rewards him on our behalf with all goodness. This book was (The Concept of Reincarnation According to the People of Specialization). We begin, after the Basmalah and the Hawqalah, with the following: Language is often incapable of expression in many matters, so it increases their ambiguity instead of clarifying them. Reincarnation is one of these matters, such that the naming itself has several synonyms, which are transmigration (Al-Tanasukh) and its four types:

Naskh: which is the transition of the soul into a human body.

Maskh: the transition of the soul into an animal.

Raskh: the transition of the soul into an inanimate object.

Faskh: the transition of the soul into a plant.

Reincarnation is also called "the return to embodiment," and it is called "re-embodiment." Some Theosophical researchers prefer the expression "re-embodiment" instead of reincarnation due to the erroneous concepts that have attached to the latter. However, the common and currently most circulated Arabic word is Al-Taqammus (Reincarnation), and it means the soul wearing a new bodily shirt (Qamis), pursuant to the law of Karma—and it means the Merciful, the Just, the Law of Requital.
