Even though the Commander of the Faithful's statement was about Decree and Predestination, dozens of volumes have been written on that subject. Why, then, should reincarnation not be written about just as Decree and Predestination have been?

This evidence cited from the Commander of the Faithful—Sublime is His Praise—does not fit our current objective of addressing the doctrine of reincarnation.

As for the benefit of discussing reincarnation: it is to prove that Allah is Just and that "The Just" (Al-Adl) is one of His Most Beautiful Names.

Otherwise, Professor, you must answer a question taken from lived, biological reality—a massive and important question: Why, in this world, do we see such varying levels? This one is a scholar and that one is ignorant; this one is rich and that one is poor; this one is beautiful and that one is ugly; this one is strong and that one is weak; this one is blind and that one is sighted; this one is sick and that one is healthy; this one is famous and that one is obscure. Why is there such disparity in the creation of the Most Merciful?
