A question from Miss Dima Al-Sadr: "The noble verse says: {Indeed, He begins creation then repeats it that He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds in justice. But those who disbelieve will have a drink of scalding water and a painful punishment because they used to disbelieve} 1 . I understand from this verse that the purpose of reincarnation is to give new opportunities to righteous people as well as those who disbelieve. My question is: as long as the righteous people have already passed the first test through good deeds and the pleasure of God—Exalted is His Might—what is their need for a second or third opportunity?"
"...And are not those who disbelieve in greater need of these opportunities and this new creation? Thank you, Professor Zuhair."
The Answer (And with God is all success):
First: Whoever fulfills his obligations deserves what is due to him. That is, whoever executes God's commands and avoids His prohibitions deserves to live in a "spring" called the Spring of God or the Spring of Life. Our Master al-Khidr drank from it and became living within this spring. As for its location, it is said to be in the "Sea of Darkness."
