The Qamis is the garment or the robe that covers the upper half of the human body, and this indicates that what reincarnates in man is the Higher Self (the Individuality). The meaning of the shirt signifies replacement when it wears out and decays.

Just as man replaces more than one shirt in his single life, likewise the Individuality replaces more than one bodily shirt in its life.

In other expression, man can also be divided for the ease of study and understanding into:

The Body.

The Condition.

The Illusory body.

The Animal soul.

The Human soul.

The Spiritual soul.

The Spirit.

Paul the Apostle and the Muslims also divided man into three parts, which are:

Body (The physical body, the etheric body, and the astral body).

Soul (The desire body, the causal body, and the illuminative body).

And Spirit (Atma).
