As for the French language, it expresses reincarnation with the words Metempsychosis, Reincarnation, Transmigration, Rebirth, Recurrent Return or New Birth, Universal Cyclic Flow, and Cyclic Return.
However, the science of Esotericism—the inner or secret science—differentiates between "return to embodiment" and "reincarnation/transmigration."
The first refers to the higher, rational human soul wearing a new human body (exclusively human) upon its return to Earth, while the second refers to the possibility of the rational soul transitioning into a human, animal, plant, or inanimate body.
The Theosophist who has entered spiritual worlds rarely finds the words; language obeyed Al-Niffari in expressing the incapacity of language with his saying: Whenever the idea expands, the expression narrows.
Let us first ascend to the concept of man and his seven components from the perspective of Theosophy ("Divine Wisdom") and shed light on the concept of reincarnation, then touch upon the position of Ibn Sina regarding it. According to Theosophy, man consists of seven bodies, structures, constructs, components, levels (gradations) of energy, layers, envelopes, veils, or principles. This heptad is composed of two groups:
A higher trinity.
And a lower quaternary.
